Dignity Diner is a small non-profit organization that provides a free, full service meal to 80-100 guests every Tuesday in Lincoln Park at 925 W Diversey, Chicago, IL. We are a community of volunteers, guests, and caring partners dedicated to this mission. 

Expanding into a non-profit

Originally started in 1992 as a ministry of Holy Covenant United Methodist Church, we became an independent non-profit organization in 2025. Our core value of providing a welcoming community meal remains the same. We offer a three course meal, hygiene items, and to-go sack lunches for our guests. During dinner, you can find our volunteers providing drink service, a movie on the projector, and our guests enjoying a game of UNO.

We only exist through the community support we receive from neighbors, local business and charities. Our gratitude is deep!
